Your Privacy and Nicutools

Here at Nicutools we are committed to protecting your privacy by meeting or exceeding New Zealand’s legal requirements for medical/health information privacy as set out in the Health Information Privacy Code. So we’ve developed the following Privacy Statement:

When you visit Nicutools our web server automatically records...

Your computer’s IP address (an identifier allocated automatically by your Internet Service Provider);
The date and time of your visit;
The specific pages that you view on Nicutools.

The information is aggregated to produce statistics to predict storage and bandwidth requirements for our server, and allows us to see which calculators are receiving the most use. We do not use your IP address to identify you in any way other than to produce statistics on country of origin of our visitors. We do not employ "cookies" to track your interests or identify you on repeat visits.

Our site has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of the information under our control.

If you choose to send us an email ...

We will retain that mail and your contact address;
We may reply to your email, but will not send you unsolicited mail;
We will not sell, lease, or give your personal details to any third party;
We will not publish any of your email without your express consent.

You may check the personal information we hold, correct any mistakes, or ask to be permanently removed from our email database at any time.

Nicutools calculators are run from your computer or mobile device. This means that any patient data entered into any of our calculators remains solely on your computer and is deleted as soon as you close your browser window. No information input into our calculators is passed back to NicuTools.
