A free source of browser-based neonatal and infant calculators

Nicutools is here to provide clinicians with a range of useful calculators to help them care for newborn infants.

And for parents and caregivers of young infants we have developed the well-known BabyCheck into an online tool to help assess the severity of their infant’s illness.

We provide all of these calculators free of charge in the hope of making life a little easier for those who work in Neonatal Intensive Care.

What's new

Endotracheal Tube & Umbilical Catheters:

The formula for insertion length at the lips for endotracheal tubes has been adjusted to reflect data from S I Kempley and colleagues. With this change in algorithm there should be a lower frequency of over-insertion of endotracheal tubes. See calculator for details.

Mean airway Pressure calculation, Base Excess calculation, and Preparation of Dextrose Solutions.
